I know i am an idiot. Especially on computer settings. I was given a brand new laptop. I started transferring things from my old one today and started getting all my junk organized again. ?ÿAnyway when I open up Trimble Business Center the ribbon at the top and the words for menus are so small and look like they are not completely visible. It is that way wether it??s on the laptop itself or when i move it to my larger monitor. ?ÿIs it something in TBC that i can change or a computer issue like screen resolution. This thing is supposed to be a good computer so i can process scan data and all. My current one is slower than molasses on a cold day. Lol. ?ÿ
What screen resolution do you have set?
TBC works well for me at 1920 X 1080 on an ordinary monitor.
But not so good at 1280 x 800 on the TSC7
If you have some flash new gear with massively high resolution you might want to play with the font magnification setting in Windows Settings, System, Display
@jimcox i will try that tomorrow. When i booted up i just set it at whatever it recommended. I didn’t think about the font. I am no computer wiz. I don’t know what I9 means or I7. I just sent them specs from a co worker that knew the computer requirements. And the it guy was watching my old one as i was registering a cloud and he said yep we will put a rush on you a new computer asap. Thanks jim i will try those settings in the morning. I might have to get your help on moviing my access emulator over as well. Its my favorite toy. I found a cd today that when i was a Trimble instructor had survey controller emulator written on it and a few other tools we got to have way back in 2005 ish time frames. I guess i need to hang it in chicken cool door to keep the hawks away from my laying hens.

That sounds like a great use for it to me 🙂
Re the emulator - you will need a licence for the machine you want to use it on - Sorry, I can't help with that (not allowed) - you will need to talk to your dealer for one.
@jimcox. Yeah once i get everything up and running i will have to send him the info so maybe he can get me a code. It is a great tool to have. I think all the project managers have been slowly getting it on their computers since i hired on. Makes it easier for them when helping field crews. As most have not run the software in field in so long they cannot remember where everything is on settings and such. Also when getting them to try new things that are not very new but new to them. Like staking to a dxf and such. We have over 17 miles of lod to stake and my boss said let me show them how that dxf staking works. So i have my crews somewhat comfortable with it and they were like yeah no points list to deal with thank goodness.
