Keep in mind the limitations of Google earth when using this tool. It's great to get started but we certify what we survey, not what Google publishes...

That link is only for general flood zone locations and classifications. Nothing esoteric nor design p[urposes, just general info. Just like the paper copies. Good starting point but never the FINAL answer.

Thanks guys - just tried this for first time. Anyone know why no hazard zones display in Google Earth in areas that should display them ?

I noticed that when clicking on the KMZ file in the download folder, it does nothing, except offer you the chance to save again. Nor does it open Google Earth.

When I open Google Earth first, and check the box for displaying the hazard areas, nothing updates except the FEMA legend shows up on the right side of screen.
