I am in need of splitting an observation file so that I can submit an individual point to OPUS and my computer is giving this error message when I try to start the LGO "Unable to establish product type.?ÿ Invalid or corrupted configuration file",?ÿ I am running LGO on a laptop with Widows 10 and thought windows may have corrupted the program.?ÿ I have a call into Leica, but it has not been returned yet and thought someone on here might be able help.
TIA
Ed
Convert it to a RINEX file and use a text editor to edit it. Or use teqc to do the same.

I have always used LGO to create the RINEX file and have no experience with any other programs.
Thanks,
Ed
A text editor is very simple to use, I use WordPad. How much of the file do you need to use?
Paul in PA
I just need to split the first of three setups out to send to OPUS.
Thanks,
Ed
?ÿ
I am using a Leica GS14.
I take it you never broke a file up the manual way before. Open the RINEX file in WordPad, delete the observations outside your markers, and save the segments with different names. It helps to learn the RINEX file naming convention.

Sounds to me like Ed can't get LGO to even open. If he can't get a RINEX file to start with, Wordpad (or Notepad which I use), will not help him.

Ed,
I have the basic LGO 8.4 but none of the addon modules.?ÿ Feel free to send me a private message.?ÿ I should be able to import the binary Leica files from your GS14 and export multiple RINEX files.?ÿ At least I was able to do that with a GS14/GS15 rental setup.?ÿ I then sent the RINEX files to OPUS.
P.S.?ÿ Loyal is right.?ÿ LGO's basic module will take Leica binary files and export them to RINEX.?ÿ If one wants to import RINEX files into LGO for post-processing then both the post-processing and external file import modules must be purchased.
Loyal is correct in that I can not get LGO to open so that I can make a RINEX file, I have always been able to used LGO to make the individual RINEX files for the OPUS submission.
Thanks,
Ed
