For the life of me, I cannot find any documentation or videos for Leica Captivate's report sheet on alignment stakeouts. Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction??ÿ
Is this a stylesheet you're trying to use?
An XSLT file? Post here if so (will need to ?ÿzip or change file extension to txt)
There is an inbuilt report sheet facility in Captivate 3.0 but this is for point stakeout only as far as I am aware.
I think squowse nailed it.?ÿ He's looking for a built in cut sheet report for points staked from an alignment.?ÿ Similar to the report added to v3.00 for point staking.?ÿ I want that too!?ÿ I was hoping it would be in the recently available v3.20 but no dice that I've seen so far anyway.
Do you have release notes for 3.20? Myworld is offline for the weekend.
Personally I think the stakeout report sheet is a complete waste of time.
It duplicates what could be achieved by stylesheets. The problem is that the offered collection of stylesheets (on myworld) is so poor. (and my attempts at programming them are also poor!)

I think it's only a waste of time because it only works with points.?ÿ If it worked with alignments I think it would have a lot of usefulness.?ÿ
Attached are the v3.20 release notes.
Thanks for that. Keen to see what treats and bugfixes we have.
I need reporting for measure to line, stake line, stake dtm, also less commonly for alignments/road jobs. All in one report ideally. I'll get there with the stylesheets. They are very frustrating to work with - I find the XSLT very unintuitive (unlike Python which I can get along with really easily). I am hoping for a eureka moment.
Hopefully this will work for "measure line" and "check road" which I almost always use in preference to "stake line" and "stake road". I have a feeling that it will not. I will see when I can get our controllers updated.
I would also need "distance to end of line" sometimes. Where I have not reversed the line, but use "distance to end of line" instead to reference the other end.
Sweet, I must have missed that when I flipped through the release notes.?ÿ
I downloaded 3.2 and there the report sheets work for both point stakeout and check road/stake road.?ÿ
