I have a file that I can open in anything. My friend tried with different software and is unable to open. I can send a link to the file (it is large) for anyone that would like to confirm/deny that it is corrupted or convert for me.
Thanks,
Thad

If it is a file your program created, check the settings.
Sometimes they are created to only be opened by the creator's system.

The file was created by the engineer. Engineer gives file to contractor, contractor posts link to file to send to me. I download file, doesn't open/import. Send to friend, has same problem opening and importing to different programs.
Assume file is corrupted?
I had problems opening a plan set that was a PDF recently and Adobe would not open it, however once I installed Google Crome it opened right up. If that is your issue.
It is a dwg file.
I tried it in TrueView 2011 & 2015 - no luck.
Sometimes you can open autocad and run audit on a file and fix it. Send me the link.

I believe it is corrupted. They are sending a new file Monday. Thanks to all that helped.
