Where do I go to change the expiration settings for proposals from the default 120 days to something else.
Ummm... I'm not savvy with secure digital docs so I would print to pdf (or to paper and scan to pdf), edit in your pdf editor, print to paper, initial with a blue pen, sign in blue ink, scan and email. If they want the original ink - mail it to them (Yes - US Postal Service!).
I would make the edits in the pdf so that it looked professional - no sloppy handwriting or printing in the contract docs - they are more likely to accept your modifications if they believe you are competent.
Somebody who knows the ins and outs of secure digital docs can undoubtedly provide a better solution. The pessimist (or realist) in me thinks such a solution will probably require DocuSign software that costs money.?ÿ Being a Luddite, I just don't believe secure digital docs are really secure (blockchain docs would be the exception).
I have a 30 day time limit on my estimates but Docusign has a default 120 day and I cannot find where to change that to match mine. Quite frustrating and I suppose I will have to call them.
Have never used that software.?ÿ However, their online help page "How do I make changes to a DocuSign envelope that I am supposed to sign?" Indicates that the sender must make the changes.?ÿ If they refuse you will need to decide if you want to allow the longer time limit or decline to sign the document.

We bought a house/lot then sold the house/lot we moved from this year.?ÿ Signed a lot of Docusign docs for that.?ÿ Realtor send us a whole stack of them, stacks and stacks of sign this sign that, never signed so much stuff in my life.
Got an offer, countered, got the counter accepted, in contract, an hour later get a better offer.?ÿ A--h---s waited a whole stinkin' week to cancel because the Feng Shui was wrong, oh that P-O'd me, but I'm not bitter about it.?ÿ Couldn't they tell the Feng Shui was wrong at the first showing so that we could accept the better offer? Sold it right after that.
