Carlson survey line table

(Carlson 2014) Lately when labeling lines with line table command, the label on the line itself includes the bearing....... "L1 (S00000E)".
I can't find the setting to eliminate the bearing in parenthesis.

Rundatline, I looked and don't see a setting that would make that happen. Seems pretty screwy to have the bearing there, that's what the line number is for, to tell the reader of the map where to find the bearing and distance.

It first happened using Survey 2016. It's doing the same thing when working in ver. 2014 as well.

I can only think of two things....In the table defaults did somebody type in a bearing next to the L in the line prefix title or in the auto-annotate command is the line totals box turn on? I use the auto-annotate total box all the time, but it does do some crud ever now and then.
