There must be a reason why C&G and MicroSurvey have the routine built in.

Going the rw5 route is too complex for the task, the AutoCAD scale idea does not match the work flow of many.

I think Carlson has the right idea in the deed routine. They have a box for rotation, they could add another box to input scale factor.

Basic stuff that should be there in the survey module, I think.

"I" enter, inverses, pretty simple.

If you want to inverse from 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 etc...

Carlson:
I, enter, 1 enter 2 enter 3 enter 4 enter, etc.

Microsurvey:
Cogo, enter
1..2 enter
2..3 enter
3..4 enter

Sure it does. I use the draw feature for something such as deed work. 2dp, D(for distance), enter distance, A(for angle), enter quadrant, enter bearing and voila, you drew the line at the bearing and distance. It gets very fast and I can type up a large deed with many calls in a few minutes or less. Then, you have the benefit of the linework that you can annotate (at the call bearings) and then rotate and translate to fit what you've found. It's very slick and my go-to for what you're talking about.

The enter deed description should never be used, ever.
