I am making a transition from LDT and having a problem finding a leader that acts like the text leader in LDT. I have tried the multileader but it seems to require text and puts it at an East rotation. I used the LDT leader and pressed escape to end the routine without text. As a work around I have copying leaders from old LDT drawings til I can figure out how to do them in Carlson. Can someone point me in the right direction?

TIA

QUICK LEADER COMMAND QLEADER JUST HIT ESCAPE WHEN IT PROMPTS FOR TEXT (IF YOU DON'T EVER USE TEXT TYPE QLEADER AND S FOR SETTINGS AND SELECT THE "NONE" RADIO BUTTON) SETTINGS IS ALSO WHERE YOU CAN SPECIFY STRAIGHT OR SPLINE AND HOW MANY PI'S

Thanks Randy.

I am accustomed to being able to draw the PI's as needed. I do occasionally use text, just like the option to draw the leader and escape the text.

Randy,

I tried that and it worked for the leader but the it is not drawing an arrowhead. I tried changing the arrowhead size in dimensions but it did not make any difference in the Qleader. The text said I could point it to a custom block, I would like to be able to use the old LDT arrowhead if possible.

That is what it is set on now and it did not draw an arrowhead, I must need to set something else.

Randy thanks.

I had to play with the size to get it the way I like it. Good to go.

Keep in mind Carlson drawing setup allows you to set a scale and paper size from the get go...your leaders, points and text can be set there quickly for the duration of the drawing.

I am trying to remember that, in LDT I left the scale at 1:1 and set the paperspace viewport for plotting.
