It would be great if there was a command to rotate text to the current ucs or even to match the rotation of a line polyline.

I think I saw a free LISP routine for both of those once upon a time.

I'll Google it tomorrow, but you may find it yourself by then.

edit>text>rotate text - select text, then options for twist screen, azimuth, entity (such as a polyline or line), follow and pick are given.
