Can you keep the points in the order that you entered them in, not the numerical order? I'm trying to do a cut sheet with point groups in the order I staked them.

Sure. Go to "Points", then down to "Point Group Manager", then select "New Point Group" and use the checkbox item "Point list" and use the options available or manually key in the numbers. Whatever floats your boat.
