I am working my way into F2F and getting my code table set up. Well, I went out in the field Monday for the first time with the new field code table and I noticed that my collector (Carlson Mini2) had way more codes in it than the table I set up. I double checked that I had loaded the correct code table in, which I had. Anyhow, finished job, deleted code table in collector when I got back to the office and reloaded it into the collector. However, what I noticed was, it appears Carlson is "grabbing" all the codes that are in the coordinate file and adding them to the code file. In other words, our old code for a set iron rod and traverse cap was TP SIR and our new code is TP_SIR, but BOTH are in my code file?! I'm sure it's just a setting or toggle of some sorts that I haven't manage to turn off, but I cannot seem to find where to do this. Any guesses?

I am not aware of a setting that would emulate the functionality you're describing. Can you send me the code table file you loaded in to SurvCE and the coordinate file you are/were using (lnelsonATcarlsonswDOTcom) along with the version (Equip tab -- About SurvCE) that you're using? I'll take a look and will try to determine what might be happening.
