I have had this problem in the past but it seems to be happening more frequently and in more drawings than it has before. When I try to insert text, the dialog comes up to select text height and rotation then it pauses for about two seconds and the command line comes back up for a new command without letting me enter text. I'm normally an icon-clicker but I've also tried to use the pulldown menu and typing the commands in directly. Sometimes it helps to close and re-open the drawing, but not always.
Does anybody else have this problem? Does anybody have a solution? Do I have to tell my bookkeeper that it's time to upgrade my software for the first time in 6 years?:excruciating:
As always, thanks in advance for the help.
".. Does anybody have a solution?"
Maybe. Everything i do is pretty low rent though.
If you need that command before any version upgrade, and it keeps timing out, just hit
the first letter you can quickly followed by the return key. You can always go back with an edit text command and edit at your pace.
This happens to me on occassion. It is generally after I have entered several commands quickly.
When it happens, I just do a quick regen, and it kind of "refreshes" everything. I don't know why it does it, but it almost always works for me.
