Good to learn a new trick.?ÿ I don't use this type of labeling often, and in the case above, it looks like you could put the labels along the lines, on one side or the other.
That said, I applaud your use of them vs the dreaded line table
I didn't get much experience with carlson labels but I remember they annoyed me because they (apparently) didn't come in as a block.?ÿ I'd annotate a line and then go to drag the label and just the bearing would move, or just the distance.?ÿ It seemed so dumb.?ÿ ????ÿ Again, I didn't get a lot of experience with the program but this seemed to be the default setting and it drove me nuts.
Anyway, hopefully you found a solution.
@bstrand?ÿ
I never got used to fancy routines, so moving a bearing and then a distance never seemed like much of a hassle.?ÿ
I got more crazed when someone else would draft using C3D, and I'd see the distances change when a line changed, when I didn't want it to.?ÿ I really hate things that are too smart for their own good
Whaaaat??ÿ The distances changing when the line changing is amazing!?ÿ You see if someone messed with your boundary.?ÿ Well, that and the text should also already be at the right scale when you look at everything in paperspace too.
@bstrand?ÿ
Yup, got so I'd have to re-check everything with each draft, to make sure nothing I'd already checked had changed.?ÿ Then I decided it was less work and aggravation to draft it myself
