I have Carlson 2011 running with AutoCad 2006 on a Windows 7 64-bit computer. I have an issue that has bugged me for the last 6 months since setting this up. In the "Open Drawing" dialogue box there are a list of folders to speed up your search. None of these default folders work for my filing system. When I erase them and paste my folders in the space I am asked if I want to save the new folders to the "Places" list. Of course I select yes and my folders show up every time I open the box for about a day or two. Then it will eventually revert back to the default folders and I have to erase and paste my folders again. Where do I find where these default "Places" to change the folders permanently?

Hi Gary,

Depending on the folders that you are seeing:

> In the "Open Drawing" dialogue box there are a list of folders to speed up your search...

I'd suggest looking at the Settings -- Carlson Configure -- Project/Data Folders (this same command can also be quickly accessed via Settings -- Project/Data Folders).

If the settings/options within this dialog box do not address your question(s), feel free to contact me or Carlson Technical Support so that we can better diagnose what you are getting vs. what you desire.
