A quick Google search didn't turn up any helpful answers, so I thought I'd post here and see if anyone has run into this issue: in AutoCAD 2012 on Windows 7 64-bit, the drawing name is shown in the application title bar. Unfortunately, the title bar has the Windows Aero appearance -- meaning that things underneath show through, in a fuzzy sort of way -- *and* when AutoCAD is maximized (the way I usually run it) the drawing name is shownin white text. (When not maximized, it's in black text.) The result is that the drawing name is pretty much unreadable when the AutoCAD window is maximized, which is a major pain when I have several drawings open and I need to know which one is which.
There are workarounds, of course, but what I'd really like to know is whether or not there's a way to force the application title bar text to display black text when maximized.
If anyone has encountered and resolved this, please chime in. In the mean time, I'll keep searching.
Thanks.
As I was typing the above I realized that the problem wasn't with AutoCAD, but rather with Windows. I switched from Aero to Basic, and the problem went away. (So did the Aero effects, but that's okay.)
