If we set up attributes for point collection in SurvCE (eg for trees or evidence descriptions) is there any way to get those into the Carlson as part of the point description or even as text? When we take the .rw5 file it puts the attributes as notes which don't import. I know attributes come in with the .crd file but then I can't process and adjust that file in SurvNet.

We just switched from Captivate and my guys miss their pull-down attributes.

Thanks

When you process your raw data, there should be a check box for create point notes. When you set up your field to finish file, there is a button (GIS/Note/Point Attribute Labels) in the middle of the edit field code definition dialog box to setup how the notes/attributes are displayed. Mine is set to MText. The notes/attributes are stored in the *.not file.

I'm sure there are other ways but this is how I first did it and was good enough for my use.
