One of the best surveyors in Washington State passed away last Thursday, he will be missed. The services are tomorrow. Here is a link to the Obituary

I sat in on a session he gave on water boundaries at an LSAW conference in the early 90s. He had prepared a handout that was more like a short text book, being about 30 or 40 pages. That booklet is still on my shelf and I still refer to it every once in a while.
My thanks to LeRoy for passing on his knowledge. My prayers and condolences to his freinds and family.
I had a chance to meet Leroy and get an autographed copy of the book he eventually put out on Water laws. He had some great stories and I am thankful I had the opportunity. I took said book with me to the LS exam, it proved to be a valuable purchase! Thank you LeRoy! You will be missed...
