I have been watching the TV show "Curse of Oak Island" for the past couple years. It is on History about treasure hunting on an island off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada. In June 2016, Fred Nolan passed; he was one of the first licensed surveyors from that area (Provincial Land Surveyor, PLS). See attached; I just wanted to have this posted to remember him for his surveying. They had a show that outlined his life and work shortly after his passing- earlier in the year he shared his maps/ information from 50 years of work with the others who continued to search on the island.
Many if not all of those episodes can be found and watched ON Demand if you have DishTV
I watch every episode....very interesting and my mothers family are from Nova Scotia....
