Central Oregon land surveyor Glenn Eastman passed away unexpectedly last month.?ÿ His wife, Linda, asked me to pass along the following words:
____________________________

Glenn Eastman, passed away in Bend Oregon on July 19, 2019. He was born September 24, 1955 in Mt. Kisco, New York. He graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in forestry. In 1993 he was licensed as Oregon Registered Professional Land Surveyor #2575.

He really enjoyed his surveying world in Lincoln City, Oregon with LRS Associates and in Redmond, Oregon where he opened his own business, Oregon Land Surveying, in 2004. For the past 6 years Glenn and his wife Linda traveled in their RV throughout the U.S and during summers they volunteered with the Oregon Fish and Wildlife office in Bend.

Glenn is survived by his wife Linda Eastman, his?ÿ step daughter Kimberly Hannas, step son David Hannas, step grandson Oliver Hannas, sister Gail and brother-in-law Mike Malloy.

The family held an intimate remembrance of Glenn on the Oregon Coast.

He is and will be missed every day.

On a personal note, I got to know Glenn and his wife Linda fairly well. Great couple. Glenn was felled by a heart attack which is befuddling because I had dined with them at a local food court a week or so before and Glenn, as always, looked hale and hearty. You just never know, dammit.
?ÿ
Rest in Peace Glenn. I'll miss your pleasant demeanor, wry sense of humor, Hawaiian shirts and WV hats.
