WAPAKONETA ?? Douglas W. "Doug" Crawford, 74, died July 4, 2018, at his residence. I have no details, other than it may have been a broken heart, two days before his birthday.
Sorry to hear this news.
Ouch. It looks like his son, Michael, was in a fatal truck crash a month earlier on June 5...on the way to visit his father in the hospital. I've asked my mom if she might have know Doug Crawford. She's a couple of years older and from a tiny town (New Hampshire) near to Wapak.
The son passing was what made me think of a broken heart, I didn't know Doug was in the hospital, our last interaction was a comment on Facebook about our upcoming mutual birthday and he sounded happy about it.
Sorry to hear about this.?ÿ
At a loss for words..other than a prayer.

Always a nice guy and sensible posts.
We also had some off-forum discussions about my archaeological adventures.
Thank you for posting this Daniel.?ÿ
Awww...Doug. ??ÿ
Sounds like "Broken Heart Syndrome". I see it happen often in my line of work. There is no cure for this kind of broken heart. ??ÿ
Rest in Peace Doug!
Very sorry to hear this.

RIP Doug.
Wow, just noticed Doug Crawford bid farewell to BigE on June 2nd....and, now to see Doug catching up with BigE. Only realized it when I saw the picture of Doug posted by the (I suppose) funeral home, and it's the same picture on the farewell BigE post. Without the pics probably would not have made the connection. Reality can hit hard.?ÿ

Sorry to hear, condolences to his family.
I really liked Doug's posts, always sensible and well grounded. Doug was way good to me with posts to my threads and other posts. We lost a GOOD one with Doug.
