Was just wondering a short time ago when I'd get my fifth plumbob, that last post to Wendall apparently did it - now to aim for the TS's

I'm sure most of you old gristly surveyors have several pairs of brass ones that you're able to talk about and even throw around with aplomb

Not several pair, just one.?ÿ A plumb bob is a deeply personal one-of-a-kind thing.?ÿ Another one would feel different.?ÿ Like they said in Lonesome Dove, "you must stroke it each night, just like a woman".

@tom-bushelman?ÿ

In my entire 40+ years of this, I only ever had to buy my own plumbob once, they were always considered company supplied equipment, and it was so late in the game I didn't really need it. Still got it even though it's in my storage unit in Eugene, that's the next step of our new life, getting up there and emptying that out, maybe this spring - anybody want to help me load?
