I've had this pot of flowers for years...yet I have no idea what they are. But they're definitely gorgeous!! ???¬

Maybe??ÿ http://www.thegardenhelper.com/calendula.html
That's what Google came up with from your picture.
Is it close to one of these?
Zinnia, Dahlia, or Marigold maybe.?ÿ Need to see the leaves for a good ID.
Looks like a marigold.
Marigold looks like a very valid guess.
I go with Zinnia.
Apparently my garden friends say it is a Calendula. ?????ÿ
Whatever works!!! 😀
Guess I need to stick with surveying.?ÿ Don't know squat about flowers.
When I was between high school and college I had a job on a forestry research crew in British Columbia. As such, I learned to identify the commercial species of trees in that part of the world. I learned that you can't just look at the leaves, or the cones, or the bark, or the form. You have to take all those things together, and more.
Give us a picture of the rest of the plant. That would help a lot.?ÿ ?ÿ?ÿ

I'll do that tomorrow for ya when it is light out again. ???? ???¬
Very nice, but since it is clearly not a commercial species of tree native to British Columbia,?ÿ I can't help you. But it should help others.?ÿ
