All kidding aside, I avoid American because of the rude, surly behavior of their employees.

American must be a hostile company to work for (they have done a lot of cost cutting which usually means less pay for employees). Pay cuts can stress anyone.

From what I heard (inside sources), it was a Union thing and that her ramblings also included a rant about the airline's bankruptcy reorganization.

> ....a union thing....?!?!?!

Sounds like a personal/medical/mental problem and nothing more.

Or maybe the Obama administration had something to do with it....."cooking the unemployment books" or something.

Like I said, my sources have told me that she was ranting about the plane crashing due to pilots, flight attendants, and aircraft maintenance workers being under paid, therefore the plane could crash.

Apparently she rambled on for about 15 minutes before some men tackled her.

Airline flying has always been a difficult job to get but at least the pay used to justify all of the expense of getting the necessary pilot certificates.

But now it's just ridiculous. The pay is going down and getting a job means years of intermittent work not too mention 10s of thousands of dollars of training to be paid for.

The Union's purpose is to advocate for the employees.

"The Union's purpose is to advocate for the employees."

In this country, that's called Socialism, son.

Don, I respectfully disagree.

There is nothing socialistic about employees banding together to bargain with their employer. Employers sometimes band together to form trade associations; they don't do that for fun. No one calls that socialism.
