My daughter is moving to Sun Valley to work for the local newspaper.

Anybody know of any long term rentals for her? Even short term until she's been there a while and can shop around.

She only needs a studio type apartment, preferrably partly furnished.

Probably Idaho, since that is where Ketchum is.

Off season in a ski resort town it should be easy to find a short term furnished rental.

She should read the classified section of the local paper.:-D

I wonder what happened to the Hemingway place up there.
I would think that Sun Valley would have a lot of rentals.

Good luck to her

Dave, I have a friend here in town and her sister has lived in the Sun Valley area for 20+ years. I sent her an email and will get back to you tomorrow on what contacts she may have.

Just like in New Orleans, we don't have local, daily newspapers anymore. Only 3 days per week with no real news stories. By the time the paper is printed, most of the articles have been posted online.

Steve,
The Baton Rouge Advocate stepped into the New Orleans market with a daily after the T-P went to 3 day/week issues.
They hired the staff that the T-P downsized and is becoming the preferred news paper especially for sports. and local news.
They ran a good marketing campaign with local celebs. The T-P further slips away from being the local news source in the area.
