St. Louis flood of 1993 - 25 years later

Well in 1993 I was still in High School back in Kentucky. I remember the flood on the news though. 17 years here in St. Louis area I have seen many floods, but none that large.?ÿ Chesterfield Valley, which was completely flooded, it now packed full of high end retail stores. A Multi-million dollar Top Golf facility will open there this Friday.?ÿ

Good tune, written about that time (1994) by a Band with roots here in St. Louis. I highly recommend a visit to Ste. Genevieve. Happy Hump Day!

That was an impressive flood. I remember standing on the bluffs on the Weldon Spring side looking across a brown ocean. 17 miles to the other side. It was especially odd to watch an intact house float by in near complete silence...
