The one about the kid has no school and can stay home and play video games made me think of the message from one of my wife's student's mother just this past week.?ÿ The spelling and word choices by the mother make the fake message from Collin appear to be very good.?ÿ In this case, my wife had the mother as a student about 20 years ago.?ÿ She is aware that the mother is a druggie and was hospitalized?ÿ several years ago for trying some really bad stuff that effectively fried her brain.

The one showing the Mommy as being a pole dancer would be even funnier if the student's name was Ralph or Jacob.

The one showing the Mommy as being a pole dancer

The real "story" is that mom worked at Home Depot during a blizzard and everyone was rushing to purchase a snow shovel. I actually believe it. It's somewhere on the web with a caption that some (ahem) idiot cropped out. ???? ?ÿ

Those pics take me back to my roots.?ÿ Luv 'em.

I was a 'natural' when it came to mapping even as a young boy.?ÿ For a geography class on South America, my 4th. grade teacher had passed out mimeograph maps for us to draw upon certain things.?ÿ The first was the Amazon River.?ÿ?ÿ

I looked at the prepared map and realized the teacher had handed out maps of Africa instead of So. America.?ÿ I looked around at my contemporaries and they we all working diligently drawing the Amazon River across Africa.

When I brought it to the teacher's attention she got flustered, scolded me and told me to sit down.

My reply was, "Hey, don't get mad at me 'cause you screwed up."

I was sent to Mr. Nichols' office for some corporal adjustment.?ÿ But what really ticked me off was when I returned to class I could see (and smell) that the teacher had run a fresh batch of mimeograph maps of the correct continent.

I never could figure out why grown ups felt that smacking me with a stick of wood was somehow doing me some good.

Hey Paden,
In Catholic grade school prison if you so much as dared to ƒ??write yer ownƒ? note about anything it was as if you had committed a mortal sin god hadnƒ??t invented yet. The ƒ??lookƒ? from a Nun trumps the current ones from SWMBO. ?????ÿ

@dougie?ÿ

Every customer is a man.?ÿ We all know the truth is the wife has to buy the snow shovel as the husband doesn't want one available.?ÿ He wants to say, "I see by the forecast the sun will be popping out any minute now and the snow will all be gone by 3:00.

@paden-cash?ÿ

As confused as you are, the current crop of society makes me think that smacking with a stick of wood might not be all that bad.

At least you never labored under the falsehood that life was fair.

@dmyhill?ÿ

Yeah, I can definitely see how the smacker gets some primal satisfaction.?ÿ The smakee on the other hand only gets some bruises and pop knots.

And this "life being fair" thing is surely a fallacy.?ÿ Every once in a while one of my employees would argue that something wasn't fair.?ÿ I was always quick to point out the word fair is a word used to getting children to play quietly with a limited number of toys.?ÿ The word has no bearing at all on life in general.?ÿ 😉

Get acquainted:

Our teacher asked what my favorite animal was, and I said, "Fried chicken." She said I wasn't funny, but she couldn't have been right, because everyone else laughed. My parents told me to always tell the truth. I did. Fried chicken is my favorite animal. I told my dad what happened, and he said my teacher was probably a member of PETA. Or a vegetarian. He said they love animals very much. I do, too. Especially chicken, pork and beef. Anyway, my teacher sent me to the principal's office. I told him what happened, and he laughed, too. Then he told me not to do it again. The next day in class my teacher asked me what my favorite live animal was. I told her it was chicken. She asked me why, so I told her it was because you could make them into fried chicken. She sent me back to the principal's office. He laughed, and told me not to do it again. I don't understand. My parents taught me to be honest, but my teacher doesn't like it when I am. Today, my teacher asked me to tell her what famous person I admired most. I told her, "Colonel Sanders." Guess where I am now...
