A neighbor just loaned me a copy of Thomas Glover's Pocket Reference. That is a cool book! Now, is there a Desktop version, of the same thing, that has even more in it?
It seems to be a great resource.

Have three, one here in my desk, one in the house at home and the other in the shop. Good reference for those with the ability to use the data on a practical level. Also have an American Merchant Seaman's manual, it has some references about historical shipping volumes, weights and measure not in common use today. Second manual, first was on loan to guy who was killed in RVN and sent home to his family with his belongings.

Kinda like
the CRC (Chemical Rubber Company) Handbook. I don't know how anyone could get through an engineering program without one. http://www.amazon.com/CRC-Handbook-Chemistry-Physics-80th/dp/0849304806
