So far there is a rather wild collection of avatars appearing here. Mine is the first picture that appears if you do a google image search for Holy Cow. While some avatars are nice photos of the posters, many others have so much detail it is difficult to understand the true intent behind the avatar. What is special about that car you are standing by? Is that mountain ridge in the background the view from your backyard? What is the message in the little cartoon you selected?
you can't see me- I'm a ninja surveyor-
Mine is just a personal favorite. Me in a comfy "party shirt" and the Golden Gate Bridge behind me. First (and probably last) time to San Francisco.
I just like it.
Mine is a squirrel infused with LSU Tiger DNA, they are running around all over Baton Rouge.
Heaven help any yapping anklebiters that try to chase one of those squirrels.
Woof!
N
Just me, a couple of years ago.
The woof is the top of the house. That just looks like a dog.
This is me with about 1000' to dry ground.

Doug,
Is your town Neil Armstrong's hometown?
My son drew the sketch of his "Padre" surveying in my Avatar while in 3rd or 4th grade Spanish class. He is now going into his sophomore year and is nearly fluent in Spanish.
Appearantly I either have a 2.5m GPS pole or I am about 4'6" tall...
I resized my avitar. Maybe it is more legable now. It says "CAPTAIN!" then "NOT NOW I'AM ON MY CELLPHONE"!
Doug
Yes it is.
Great cartoon, Steve.
My latest hobby is making hot sauce. My avatar is a label from one that I made about a year ago. The main ingredient was prickly pear cactus pads.
Mine is simply my hatred for St. Louis.
Mine is my face ran through Gimp software.
I tend to get nervous.
I plan on changing it as my mood swings.
Things aren't always the way they appear..best to take a second look.
