Early Sunday just after midnight a vehicle drove up Conestoga from the south and parked a little north of the cul-de-sac by Bob and Paula's house. Someone, probably a woman, maybe 5' 6", light build, shoulder length light hair, climbed over the north wall. She was obviously trying to avoid the security cameras but didn't realize that one is fairly wide angle. There is a left shoe imprint in the dirt where she first landed, a smaller size shoe. She had a small flashlight, and gathered some pomegranates. Then she climbed over the north wall again, got in the vehicle, turned around at Fort Lowell, and headed south on Conestoga.
What is bizarre about this is I've told everyone around here the pomegranates are free - just come over and get them. The trees are way bent over from all the fruit and I'll gladly give them away.
I've heard stories about putting things out on the curb with a large sign stating "Free". No takers after a few days, so they put a sign up with a price on the item and it promptly disappears.....
Dang. I wish you lived closer. I'd take you up on your offer!
I like pomegranates. Once upon a time, we got a whole truckload of them, we made juice, and all kinds of stuff out of them!
