Recently I have received several unsolicited "resume's" from unknown people and sources. Each includes an attachment "Resume.zip"
I am aware enough to not open zip files, or pretty much any file, from people I don't know.
Is this a new scam effort?

You must be very successful! Nobody sends me resumes. Not even scammers or spammers. Congratulations for being such a noteworthy business purveyor.
