Good drinking weather here as it is still 86.5 after a max today of 107.8.

Its been so dang hot since before Christmas day it feels like it should be celsius. For the record it was 42.1c today(I mean yesterday) and is still 30c at 1am.

M good friend RADU was here in March 2004, we drove through 5 different mountain passes. Quite the contrast from South Australia....
Richard lives a fair way east of me (1500+miles) and we are a lot flatter than his neck of the woods so 5 mountain passes in a days drive is unheard of here.

Happy New Year Perth... Istanbul had a rather lack luster firework display that triggered ten minutes early but the walk back to Sultanahmet with the revelers and police made up for it.
