Yes this has become quite a fad. I predict that it will be short-lived, though. I sense that the word is getting out that unlike what these gullible people have been told, the legalities are not there to support their ever obtaining title to the properties.

We should note that one of the more famous recent cases, Kenneth Robinson in Texas ended in failure for the squatter. Of course that didn't deter him from offering for sale an instructional e-book to help other "savy investors" reap dividends from "little-known loopholes in the law."

Just my rant. We deal with many illegals and minorities. Police do their job differently. I guess they may get heat if the criminal is a protected group. To me a criminal is just that regardless of race. It should be the action, not any thing else. Sorry if I offended you.

It doesn't seem right to lock a family out of their home. Some of these methods of acquiring title are deep legal issues beyond my lay understanding.

Frankly, I don't think we have a problem with minorities getting special treatment from criminal activity.
Not offended here, but just a bit surprised at the implications of the post. I would be curious to see the percentage of squatters by race. My immediate thought was of this being done more often by a white male than any other race or gender; but perhaps I'm wrong.
I won't put my opinion of what should be done to the lowlife scum sucking bottom dwelling piece of whale feces that did this for several reasons.
One of which is that Wendell would have to delete it if I did.
