Yes, that is David Karoly, surveyor extrodinar from CA, with his charming mother Marilyn.
They swung by the house for a quick visit today.
Wonderful! Coast to coast.
That's awesome! We're just one big happy family here on Beerleg!
:good: :good:
Cape Cod is awesome. We have cousins there, My Mother's first cousin and two of her children. She has memories of my Grandfather and his siblings (her mother was the oldest, my Grandfather's sister).
Sorry we couldn't spend more time there.

That's cool Dave. It would have been fun walking around there looking at some of my old surveys with you and meeting Don. Nice time of year too.
Look who visited Cape Cod!>>>>Ric Moore
Where abouts are your old surveys?
The backstory is my Mother lives full-time with my sister who is her primary caregiver. So I flew to DCA a week ago on Saturday to help her and my sister went to a couple of conferences beginning on Wednesday. This accomplished giving her a respite and I also drove my Mom up to the Cape to visit her Cousin who took us all over there on Saturday. It was kind of a whirlwind tour. We drove down to Dover, DE last night which was too far but oh well. It gave us today to mosey on down to mosey down to Ocean City then west on US50 to enjoy the MD Eastern Shore countryside.
We visited both the east ends of US6 and US50. I've been to the west end of 6 (Bishop, CA) and 50 (West Sacramento, CA).
My sister flies in tonight.
Mom has gotten a lot more used to the idea that our roles have switched in the past year.
