Lately he doesn't want to go home (he is 4). He cried yesterday when we said it was time to take him home.?ÿ Granted I had just got home from the road 20 minutes before that.?ÿ It's kind of hard on us.?ÿ A friend told me everyone likes Grandparent's house better.
Perfect time to introduce CHORES to the lad!!
You ain??t alone Dave, when my two Grandchildren ??visit for a few minutes? (which in their Mother??s mind usually means six hours or so) they have a great time. I always make sure that when Mom is returning they are hyper from sweet goodies so they will drive her crazy as she did me when she was a child. They have a fit when they have to go home!?ÿ ??ÿ

They crave it!
I challenge the 8 I have, all the time. It gets harder, the older they get; you have to keep up on it.?ÿ
"Over the hills and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go!"
You NEVER heard?ÿ"Over the hills and through the woods to our house we go!"
"I challenge the 8 I have, all the time"
EIGHT????? Jumpin Jesus, I'd need a cattle prod, bullwhip, and a taser to deal with that many at one time.?ÿ ??ÿ
A good cattle dog would herd them, no problem.
Just be grateful you have a grandkid at all as apparently my kids and their significant others can't seem to figure out how to make me a few.

Get em all out camping and it's like a staging area for a Circus...
And yes, I do have a good Cattle Dog!
