My brother sent me this, pretty amazing.
It is titled "ROMANCING THE WIND"
This is the intro followed by the link, the video is almost 6 minutes long and worth every minute, so enjoy.
The most amazing performance of *Kite Flying* you'll ever see!
The guy flying the 3 kites is in his 80s, and he's from Canada. He
comes to the Washington State International Kite Festival every year.
His skin is like leather as he normally flies with his shirt off. He
is deaf, so when he flies we hold our hands up and wave them for
applause. He flies 2 with his hands and the 3rd one is attached to his
waist.
You gotta watch to the end to see the amazing landing of that last
kite! I would have those kites so tangled up, you could never get them
separated again! And of course, make sure the volume is turned up
because the music is wonderful and totally reflects the soaring of the
kites. Beautiful.

WOW!
That's all there is to say!
The kids and I have one of those steerable kites. They are a lot of fun, but IT IS NOT AS EASY AS HE MAKES IT LOOK!
I would have had them, all tangled, within the
first few seconds, +/- 0.04'.
Yep - watching that is worth 6 minutes of your life. Thanks for sharing.
WOW is right!
I have flown one of those, and it is tough. This guy is amazing.
Paul - thanks for posting this.

That's mighty dam awesome!
I wouldn't have believed that had I not met a guy on the beach when I was down in FL for the first launch after Challenger (circa 1988 I suppose).
This guy had a single kite with no tails and was wrist strapped on both hands. His was about half the size of these in the video. He wasn't much bigger than me and that thing was dragging him all over the place. He offered to let me have a go at it. No thanks. That thing would have had me airborne before I could say "here, hold my beer and watch......".:-O

Makes one really humble looking at this man's ability and miss hitting the bar with the sledge !
