Cheers

Im sure after a week or so of this cold snap, the weather will get back to normal being rainy and in the low 50']

Why is one side of the V longer than the other side?

The smart ones left a long time ago. It had warmed up to 8 by the time I started the survey chariot this morning. Hard water makes for hard landings.

We have an inordinate number of those nasty flying poop bombers in Mississippi right now. They seem to love my car. A carwash 2 or 3 times a week is not out of the question. :-@
Game and Fish and the local PD will not let us thin out the flocks either. Right now everybody is doing their fireworks thing so my poor car will be spared for a day or two. I got a bunch of roman candles this year. I cannot hunt those nasty bums but I can melt the hell out of some butthole feathers!! 😉
And why is it that on a foggy morning they fly real low and real quiet and just as they see you they do that "HONK" thing and crap? They don't have to aim real well. If their bomb misses, the "HONK" is usually so loud and unexpected that you crap yourself anyway. +o(

ROFLMAO 😉

We don't have many gooses? geeses? in FL. But we do have an overabundance of Sandhill Cranes.

Never been "hit" (yet). They also make a racket when airborne or on the ground that can scare the hell right out of you.

Happy New Year! B-)

Do they tangle with powerlines?

how many times do those things take out powerlines? Or short them to be precise?
I had a Black Swan get fried just before Christmas.
Took out 2 fuses on line but then that's what they're there for.

They make a unique noise when that happens.
