Saturday afternoon muzak
Those Elephant guys were kind of soundy samey of many others, but interesting. Sandman speaks for itself in the era and always a classic.
Speaking of era's and impact, this guy had a lot to do with much of the 70's, 80's and beyond. I was at the Spiders From Mars show in Detroit in 1972 (maybe 73) for his debut US tour of Aladdin Sane (the one after Ziggy Stardust). Great album and In-Frigging-Credible show.
Their entire concept influenced rock/pop music with all that glitter & offbeat chord changes. Not to mention the vocal harmonies. Then put it on stage! Many try to mimic it even to this day, but it's never the same second time around.

I have that album. That would of been a good concert to see.
