I pick up ALL coins that I find. I collect them in a glass jelly jar. I consider them "Coins from Heaven". ?????ÿ
I believe that my dearly departed relatives drop them from time to time, just to show me they are near, especailly my grandpa. He would give me 25? every day for the ice cream man. 35? when he wanted an extra something...so that dime had extra special meaning to me. Whenever I go visit his headstone, I leave him a dime.?ÿ
When my mom was dying, I was going out of my mind and doing everything I could to keep functioning, while trying to hold it together for her. I kept bickering with the universe about how mean and cruel this is, that she's going through this, will it be over soon? Will she be OK once she passes? How will I know?
I headed out to my car to make the quick drive home to moms to shower and grab a snack. While walking out, I asked my grandpa "Hey, if you can hear me, give me a sign of some sort so I know you'll be there when she dies!!!"?ÿ
Then I drove off.
When I returned back to the hospital, my usual parking spot was dark. Normally there was a light post lit up there. I parked there anyways, since I was familiar with the spot. I started to walk to the hospital entrance, in almost pitch black sky. All of a sudden, I see a small sparkly object on the parking lot ground. I go to look closer and what do you know! It's a dime!! I shiny silver dime!!! I figured that was my grandpa answering me, and quicker than usual. I just started bawling...My mom died a few days later. ???
?ÿ (Black speckled photo with dime is the exact one I found in the hospital parking lot!)
?ÿ
I have also asked for the winning lotto #s to be dropped in front of me but so far, I haven't received those... Yet. 😛

Reminds me of another story ~about 1987 again. ?ÿOpened the lid of a manhole to discover that it was shallow and dry (bricks and dirt) with no apparent pipes connected.
Right there on the bottom was a glass peanut butter jar full of bills. ?ÿI jumped in, opened the jar, and discovered that they were black and white photo copies.
This was on Indy??s east side. ?ÿWould like to know the rest of this story.
