Why thank you!

When did you snap that shot of my foot?

Because I want to try them on first! Styles change, and fit may change.

Otherwise, I may have to send them back.

I got "Keen" for my last boot. They seem very comfortable. I don't know about 13WWWW though.

:good: They are great boots for light to medium duty work. Really comfortable for everyday wear as well.

I also keep a pair of more traditional type "work" boots in the truck for areas that I feel more comfortable with a leather upper (i.e. creek work or brushy areas with a concern for possible snakes).

I have also converted to Ariat. I wear a size 14 wide so I don't get much a selection at the boot store. Ariat always seems to have the larger sizes. I like the steel toe I use them to "dial in" the sensitivity on my schonstedt before a search. I also have a pair of merrells for light duty work. Best fitting shoe I've worn in my life.

Depending on where you measure my foot I'm either a D width or B width (heel). Technically my size is 14 but I can wear 13 which is more widely available.

I finished my career with Ariats. 4 years surveying, 1.5 years CM, 2.5 years hunting and yard work and still going. Out performed Redwings by far. 🙂

If you know exactly what you want it is easy enough to find them online. I've got more than a few months wear out of these Hitecs.

If you want some made in USA (Portland, OR) last for a lifetime boots, try these Danners.

still breaking in my 3rd pair of Danner Mountain Light II-'s - I have a pair of Sportiva's I'm wearing in the meantime. I have a 12EE boot size, and love the Danners. A bit $$, but they last me about 10 years/pair, usually get re-soled with genuine Vibram soles 2x on each pair. having a great boot shop can make those new soles really fit and last.
