For the first time in my life, my birthday falls on Easter this year; I'll turn 66.

As we all know:

Why is Easter determined by the moon?

According to the Bible, Jesus Christ's death and resurrection occurred at the time of the Jewish Passover, which was celebrated on the first Full Moon following the vernal equinox. This soon led to Christians celebrating Easter on different dates.

The last time Easter fell on April 9th was 1950. My birthdate wasn't until 1957.

This is where it gets weird: The next time will be 2034; I'll be 77. The next time after that will be 2045; I'll be 88. Hope I live that long...

My wife's Birthday was February 21; Mardi Gras! So maybe I should've whooped it up and then wandered the desert for 40 days...

Happy Birthday Radar! Easter before the end of Passover, go figure. I'm just glad everyone (but me) is off today. Reason enough to call it Good Friday.

It's the first Sunday after the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox.

It recently fell on March 22nd one year as I remember.

Easter Monday.... I sure hope the opossums and/or raccons eat all the easter eggs I couldn't remember where I hid. 18 rescued 6 still missing. Search and rescue efforts are continuing. Update soon as searcher finds anything besids a broken sprikler head.
