They would dearly love to have a good sized chunk of it. so would a few other states. Among them New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas and Colorado. I wouldn't be surprised that Utah, Nevada and Arizona would like to take the rest.:-(
Most definitely send it into Texas and Okie. The big one in Texas has claimed over 1100 homes (yes, 1100) and consumed over 3.5 million acres. That's about the same size as Connecticut.
Seems the entire country this year has either had feast or famine when it comes to moisture.
Most of our cattlemen have sold their stock off early because of all the dry ponds and lack of growing vegetation. Very sad.
It is pouring this morning at Port Newark with thunder and lightning. More expected all day again today. Trees are falling in my town due to saturated soil conditions. Mushrooms sprouting up everywhere as well.
The northeast has been wet since last fall and the amounts seem to be increasing.
Joe didn't you get the memo? . . . By now you should be done with the permitting stage for the ark and starting construction.
My ark plans are sill stuck in the building dept...I just got a zoning permit though...
Rivers here are flirting with record flood stage. My cuz in Austin would love some of this.

Is that Joe Cocker on your avatar? Kinda small to be sure but it looks like him (or did).

Yeah, that's how I feel when surveying! I'm larger, now, too.
There's a better pic of Joe I tried to use. His hair is blown back, like the Marantz ad.
