Is there a reason you post in all caps? I notice your sig is not all caps, so I'll assume no tech issue. What's the deal?

Like WV answered, "It's Ted".

He is always "Over the Top".

I would have thought you had been around long enough to have already "been larned that".

I think the spirit world is trying to send you a message. Maybe you should go on a vision quest?

If you compared the real Ted to his Avatar, you might realize that the "Bear" was really a large rat.

You might also oome to terms with why he posts in all caps....;-)

KIDS & BEARS-PIC

> post the one with the kids in it--ted

Oh crap! I'm sorry. :-$

I didn't see that one in the email. I had to go back and find it. It came in as a 4000DSCN file instead and didn't appear as a photo. I had to go and find it, open it up, re-size it and save it. Here it is!!!

Since I'm from Iowa and the newspapers announce when a bear is seen in the state every year or two, I don't know much about them. Is it considered prudent to stand there taking pictures of your family with a bear that close?

Brother Pat was dealing with a third time census taker the other day to find out who lived in the neighboring house...he had told two others that it was a hunting camp and no one lived there!!! Third time mind you a census person has been to his house to bug him. As he looked past the womans car a Mamma bear and THREE !!! cubs came across the road. He pointed up the road and said maybe they live there!!! We actually have two mammas with three babies each in the area!!! Going to a pig roast up on the hill in the AM and kinda hope they don't crash the party...130 people from all over the country for the party!!

I don't consider it prudent to be that close to any animal that can do me serious bodily harm, unless it is an animal which is domesticated and trained or I have at hand the proper means to protect my self and others. A camera does not fit that description.
