Here is a story on the longest golf course challenge in the world.?ÿ Sounds like something well suited to crazy Americans.

"However, a tremendous distances separates each hole."

And that is because the developers of the "golf course" are planning huge PUD's between each hole. ?????ÿ

The possibilities are mind boggling for the development of such "attractions" to get visitors to that location.?ÿ Besides, you could have seashore, swamps, rolling grassy hills and rocky mountainous terrain all on one 18-hole "course".?ÿ A somewhat logical expansion for a somewhat linear course would be to have two holes in each location.?ÿ As you go from one end to the other, you could play the A holes and on the return trip you could play the B holes.?ÿ Having each site with both women's and men's tees would encourage attendance by couples who golf.

For those into both golf and yachting, a series of sites near ports along an extensive seashore might be popular.

Tiger plays golf and has a yacht.

hats off to the person who planned the Robert Trent Jones golf trail using Alabama teachers retirement funds.?ÿ Good return for the teachers and an economic engine for the communities.
