While I am fond of?ÿ Wild Turkey, Bulleit, Jeffersons, and several others I am deeply traumatized over this.
The horror of this day will live in infamy.?ÿ
I agree. As a Frankfort, KY native and a bourbon lover it really sucks. I remember when the same situation happened to Wild Turkey back in 2000. But the good part is...Bourbon is super hot right now and they can make up the difference in no time....but we will still have a generation gap for about 7 years...
As a side note....there is good fly fishing right below the Jim Beam dam in Frankfort...small mouth bass galore.

Raise a glass of Kentucky bourbon to all the fallen barrels.
They have another 3.3 million barrels in 126 other places.
That should get you through the weekend.
I'm imaging a news announcer watching all that burning 'Beam and reporting live with all the horror of the newsman that was there as the Hindenburg went down in flames in '37....."Oh, the humanity...!"?ÿ
While I have had my fair share of Jim Beam in another place and time, When I saw the article weeks ago it was a sad day for those that rely upon that distillery.
I am a Charter, Makers, 46 and Hot Dickle member for many years since I matured and got rid of those spirits that turn me into a bad hangover that lasts for days.
I shot my first deer behind that distillery....was the Old Crow Distillery back then.....was kinda like the movie Deer Hunter, shipped off for Boot Camp a week later....
