SkyDive Cape Cod runs a really slick operation. My friend and I jumped yesterday. Fly to 10,000', exit, free fall for about 5000' and then pop the chute for a nice relaxing ride down to a stand up landing.

I went through Airborne School almost 24 years ago and I'm sitting here with an adrenaline rush just from the pictures. There's something about standing in the door, looking out at the horizon, seeing the ground a couple a thousand feet below in your peripheral vision and then deliberately jumping. :woot:

I've read some of the those letters, but just the ones in the Cape Codder. I'm sure the Chronicle has many more to read! They run a great operation there, to bad a lot of folks scream on their way down! It's really quite peaceful once the chute opens.
