I've missed Jerry every day since he left us over twenty years ago for the "great beyond".?ÿ One of the finest yarn-spinners that ever drew a breath as far as I'm concerned.
One of my favorites:
Don't remember which album it was on but it is one of my favorites when he is talking about "fine wines" such as "Chevrolet Coupe in da midle of da highway" and "Possum up a gum stump". I can't find those wines anywhere.?ÿ ?????ÿ
My favorite was when Newgene (Newgene was some more bad a while) snuck in the church and replaced the communion wine with green persimmon wine.?ÿ They all had to stand and whistle the closing hymn.

One of my favorites:
Mine too...
Jerry is great. Justin Wilson was another good storyteller. I liked the name of his Louisiana hunting dog Phideaux.
That is a great story.
Heard a similar story once with a much cruder ending.?ÿ The dog came back and began humping the hunter's leg vigorously.?ÿ That meant there were so many ducks he couldn't %$#&ing count them.
