Today's website update is actually the result of many cumulative updates over the last couple of weeks. Since recently changing our underlying theme system, we've been working on essentially redesigning every part of the website, including the forum. Of course, the intent was to keep it mostly looking the same as it was before and we have been mostly successful with that. But I've already reported previously about the forum-specific updates. Today's report is in regards to the non-forum pages.
With that, I'd like to announce a total revamp of all non-forum pages, including the following:
- About Us
- Contact Us
- Advertise With Us
- Current Advertisers
- Purchase Advertising
- Become A Supporter
- Welcome To SurveyorConnect (for new members)
- Community Rules
- Terms of Use
- Privacy Policy
- Cookies Policy

We're also working on making the formatting of the text on the legal pages a bit easier to read.
All that said, if you are browsing any of these pages and find any errors or display problems, please let me know!
Thank you for your patience through this transition. I've tried to keep it as painless as possible. The transition was necessary due to some compatibility issues between various software. I implemented temporary workarounds where possible, but now those workarounds are not necessary. 🙂
I like the little pink arrow asking for $ support.
I miss the little blue arrow that quickly returned me to the top of the page I am viewing on my iPhone.
Thanks fella! ?ÿGood work.

Nice catch. The new theme system had it disabled on mobile by default. It's back on now. 🙂

I had a really hard time adding that. I have a problem asking anyone for money. But after so many people telling me I needed to do something like this, I decided maybe it was time. We'll see how long I leave it up there. 😉
Ahhh the sweet return of the blue arrow. ?ÿWorth every penny that the pink arrow asked of me.
Some kind of html marker to highlight unread posts since last visit would be appreciated.
Unread post titles are bold.
When actually logged in.
Yes, because otherwise it doesn't know who the hell you are. ????
@wendell roger that brother man.?ÿ Things I figure out the hard way.?ÿ Still making rookie mistakes after 39 years in the business (since I was twelve).
haha you weren't wrong, I was just clarifying. 🙂 You're all good, man!
@wendell?ÿ
only from the main page, actual replies that are not read are not marked. Adding to the confusion is new replies push other replies down so you have to start from the 1st page to see which are the new replies.
@jonathan50 I have always strongly disliked that aspect of this website. It makes it damn near impossible to keep up with a thread, especially when the "new" button never works from one device to another.
Thank you for the feedback. It's not something where I can just flip a switch, but I'll definitely add it to the list.
