I have found some great information on this site.?ÿ Decided to join today. I got into surveying by taking a surveying class at WV tech.?ÿ Did not know anything about surveying but thought it sounded fun. I been hooked ever since.?ÿ I started out surveying underground in the West Virginia coal mines while in college.?ÿ Moved to North Carolina in 97' and have worked in the Raleigh area ever since. I have been a survey manager for large construction companies for the last 15 years.?ÿ Decide to go out on my own starting in 2023.?ÿ Looking forward to the change.?ÿ ?ÿ

Hi RV, I'm in NC via WVa too! Dad was a miner in the late 70's and 80's. We moved to NC in the 80's when the mines were laying everyone off. I'm located West of Charlotte. There's a stretch of I 77 refered to as the "Hillbilly Hwy".?ÿ
