Well, if they are oxen they aren't great great grandpa.
Used more for quarter horses than thoroughbreds, but yeah, I'm wondering if I should feel guilty about knowing how long a furlong is. I do miss those quarter horses though.

A friend of mine resigned from an engineering consultancy and the staff had the usual whip around for a small gift and a card. One of the entries on the card said "We are so sad you are leaving, us ladies are going to miss you." To which someone else had added "You are the only eunuch we know".
